General Questions

Where is Gourmet Trading Co. Located?
We are located in Mississauga, ON. Visit the Contact Us page for more.
How many products do you sell online?
There are currently over 850 different items you can purchase online. Visit the Brands page to browse through the different items, by brand or choose the category you would like from the drop-down menu under Products.
How long after I purchase will my order be processed?
We aim for one business day, given there are no errors in the order. Shipments are not shipped out on weekends. Priority will be given to orders with Priority/Xpresspost shipping.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and payment through PayPal.
Is your website secure?
Yes, we are using SSL certificate with SHA256 bit SSL technology to ensure our customers information is secure.
How do I cancel my order?
Please give a call as soon as you can at 905-826-6800. If the order has already been shipped, shipping costs will not be refunded and you will have to return the product at your own expense. If your package has not yet been shipped, we will cancel your order and refund you the full amount
Does your pricing include tax?
The tax is not included in the price, however many items are not subject to tax.
Are you a storefront?
We are not a storefront.
Where are your products from?
We carry an assortment of products from Canada, the United States, and as far as Mexico, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Belgium, and Norway.
Do you produce the products at your Mississauga location?
No, we do not produce the food. We import and distribute.
Do you supply wholesale customers?
Yes we do, please give us a call at 905-826-6800 and we will arrange an order for you or get you in contact with your area’s sales rep.
Do you distribute to retail stores?

Shipping Questions

Where does Gourmet Trading ship to?
Currently we only ship within Canada.
How do I get free shipping?
When your order comes to over $60 before tax, you will receive free Regular shipping through Canada Post.
What kind of shipping do you offer?
We offer Regular, Xpresspost, and Priority through Canada Post.
Can I have my order shipped to a PO Box?
No. Unfortunately, we cannot ship to PO Boxes, an address will have to be provided.
What happens to my order if I am not home?
Canada Post will leave a notice on your door that your order has arrived and will include instructions on where to pick your order up.
How long will it take to receive my package?
The length of time varies depending on the type of shipping you requested/purchased and the location you are in. For more information on Canada Post shipping, please click here.
Who do you ship with?
We ship within Canada with Canada Post.
How do I track my order?
To find out where your order is and the expected delivery time, please click here and enter your tracking number.
I did not receive a tracking number, how to I get this?
If you did not receive a tracking number, please call 905-826-6800 with your order number ready. Alternatively, you may email through the contact form.
Can I pick my order up in person?
No, since we are not a store, the items will be shipped to you.
I never received my order, what should I do?
First, check your tracking number with Canada Post to see where it is. If Canada Post says the package was delivered and you did not receive it, give Canada Post a call and provide them with your tracking number. Furthermore, if you have not received a tracking number or your package is not on its way, give us a call at 905-826-6800 and we will sort it out for you.

Return Policy Questions

What is your return policy?
If there was a problem with your order please call us at 905-826-6800 and we will find the best solution to the problem. If you would like to return the product because you do not want it, you will be responsible for shipping the items back. Only the costs for products will be refunded - shipping costs will not be refunded.
Who is responsible for my return shipping costs?
The customer is responsible for returning the product and any shipping costs that may apply
When will I receive my refund if I am sending product back?
You will receive your refund once we have received the returned product.
